WHAT
It's my mission to teach students to enjoy themselves while learning what music is about. Which instrument they learn doesn't matter, as long as they are having fun and they get to explore their creativity. I don't use a particular method but secretly weave in technique, rhythm, note reading and musicality into their lessons the rudimentary nature of these elements isn't the primary focus. The intention is to work on music they enjoy, and through that, they will be receptive to learning the necessary techniques to accomplish what they want.
I believe music enhances one's life in ways that go beyond just learning the skill of playing an instrument. It opens areas of creativity and artistic thinking not seen in people who's lives have not been enriched by studying music.
“Bryan is such a wonderful teacher to my four children. They range in age from 5 to 12 and range in personality from shy to gregarious and their interest levels range from highly motivated to needing extra encouragement. Bryan adapts the lessons to each child’s needs and personalities and skill levels. He is very present to them as individuals that makes them excited for piano lessons every week.”
